"SHOOTING CREEK, written and directed by JTS Moore, is a Civil War piece with production values -- wide-screen forest vistas, wonderful period music by Christopher Anderson -- that effectively compete with THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS "

SHOOTING CREEK (J.T.S. Moore, US, University of Southern California, 35mm) Taking place immediately following the Civil War, this homage to Sir David Lean, is a lush wide-screen tale about a Reb soldier who sets out to bring a Confederate flag to a friend's funeral. The story recalls the writings of Stephen Crane & Ambrose Bierce.
