AN I WITHIN
DRAMATIC SHORT
Winner of the 1999 Florida Film Festival's Kodak
Vision Award for Best Cinematography

Special Achievement Award - USA Film Festival 99
L.A. Short Film Festival - Best American Short

This is the first short film in the Florida Film Festival's
history to win the Kodak Vision Award for Best Cinematography. Usually the award is given
to one of the ten features in the Feature Film category.
As described in the 1999 Florida Film Festival's Program.
Cinematographer John Roy Morgan, seamlessly fuses live-action
with the director's animation into a vivid kaleidoscope of images. Lush colors saturate
the screen with allusions ranging from Fellini to the Arabian nights. This imaginative and
experimental film dissolves all the boundaries of traditional filmmaking, inviting the
viewer into a strange and beautiful world.
